General Questions

Are there refunds?

No. Because Romance Ink, Inc.'s events are all non-profit, every penny immediately goes into fulfilling our contractual obligations to the hotel. In extreme cases we may offer refunds (acts of god or country) but these refunds are only given on a case by case basis.

When and how do I register for my room?

Instructions for hotel registration will be available closer to the event date.

Are their age limits to the event?

Romance Ink, Inc. conventions are intended for those of the age 18 or older.

When do I need to pay?

Payment is due upon registration.

What if I need to cancel?

TNEE is not able to offer registration refunds. All sales are final

If you need to cancel it will be up to you to find someone to take your ticket and pay you directly. It will also be up to you to notify TNEE of the name change (including email address) for the ticket.

Can I bring my own books to be signed?

Yes, but please keep it limited as not to monopolize an authors time. Many are interested in meeting them, and they should have the chance to. For those bringing in books, they will need to be labeled before entering and checked again before existing the book signing. Please be patient through this process.

What other events are there aside from the signing?

There will be parties during most of the nights, panels, opportunities for mingling with authors, and some cool off-site events as well. We are planning every day!

Author Questions

Can anyone sign?

Yes. ALL AUTHORS are encouraged to register and attend including those traditionally published, self/indie published and small press.

How do I apply to be an author:

There is no application or acceptance process for The Novel Experience Event, just register. You will be a signing author once you pay the registration fee.

I am an indie author, can I sign?

YES! Unlike other events, the TNEE signing is not contingent on the bookseller. Indie authors will be allowed to sign. Indie authors will need to do their own sales as the bookseller will not be handling their books. Make sure you have stickers to mark the back of your books as "sold" when purchased.

Will you have a bookseller?

Yes. If you are published with one of the big six, their imprints, Samhain Publishing, Entangled Publishing, Ellora's cave or a boutique publisher that make books available in bookstores, your books can be ordered and handled by the bookseller.

Who should publishers contact for sponsorship opportunities and/or parties?


How can authors find out about hosting parties?

Just contact . She will put your name on the list and contact with room assignment and fees.
